Return & Refund Policy

Returns

We gladly accept returns on unused and undamaged candles within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

  • Item must be unused and in its original packaging

  • Candle must not be burned or altered

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required

To start a return, email us at julie@modernflamecandleco.com with your order details. Once approved, we’ll provide return instructions.
Please note: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error.

💳 Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you via email. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Note: It may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund to your account.

📦 Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your candle arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Email us at julie@modernflamecandleco.com with:

  • Your order number

  • A photo of the damaged or incorrect item

  • A brief description of the issue

We’ll gladly send a replacement or issue a full refund.

🔁 Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you’d like a different item, please return your original candle for a refund and place a new order.

🚫 Final Sale Items

Items marked as Final Sale, Clearance, or Custom Orders are non-refundable and not eligible for return.
